Van Gogh painted Almond Blossom in February 1890 as a gift for his brother Theo and sister-in-law Jo, who had just had a son and named him Vincent. Almond trees are the first to flower in southern France, and he chose them deliberately as a sign of new life. The cropped branches against flat blue sky show how much he had absorbed from Japanese woodblock prints. The original is at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

Beautiful glasses case that folds flat but opens to accommodate larger wraparound glasses with a secure magnetic closing device. Perfect for keeping my glasses safe and beautiful too.
Super cute case! Lightweight but sturdy enough to protect glasses. Love the easy foldable magnetic closure. I bought a few different designs / colors, all are beautiful. Excellent service and quick shipping. Highly recommend!
